The UAE Academy celebrated the International Day of Happiness, which is globally celebrated on the 20 of march, alongside other organizations and institutions within the UAE. This year’s celebrations highlight the leading role of the UAE in embodying happiness as a lifestyle and national culture, marking the 11th rank worldwide according to the World Happiness Report 2018 and the 1st in the Arab region.

On this occasion, the Academy launched a number of innovative events and initiatives to promote positive values and the spirit of optimism and happiness among its trainees, students and employees. Professor Abdullah Al Kawafi Abonamah, President of the Academy, confirmed that today the concept of happiness is a fundamental value in the UAE society, it has become an established approach and an inspiring part of the directives of the UAE wise leadership and government strategies. Professor Abonamah further congratulated the UAE wise leadership on achieving UAE’s advanced ranks globally and in the Arab region in World Happiness Index.
